Aria Comp - I'm Baffled - Las Vegas Forum
I'll admit we like to live it up while we're there, though aren't particularly big spenders in real life. I knew if I booked I wouldn't be back because my theoretical losses wouldn't cover room and food they were offering. I usually spend a fair bit of time at the tables and slots on Vegas trips, at least enough to have earned me a steady stream night standard room comp offers with a few small extras tossed in for most MGM properties, though I certainly don't consider myself a high-roller meriting nor expecting a lot of attention from casino marketing. If the way is hazy OKAY! RockyMountainRoller-- thanks for the report. Just stayed here for our third trip.
VegasTripping suggests you find alternate accommodations. Befit with fabulously comfortable hi-tech rooms, a dark and mysterious casino, varied dining options from chefs borrowed from neighboring Bellagio and dramatically designed public spaces that instantly redefined the casino resort. The chink in Aria's angular armor has always been substandard, careless, almost confrontational customer service. Now, a number of years into operation, ARIA has combed out many of the bugs, fixed misfires and transformed a gorgeous property into a destination resort devoid of excuses.
ARIA's casino floor has been much maligned for its low lighting, earth and slate hues and challenging decor. In our eyes, these are virtues not downfalls. That's not to say we don't have complaints: Why are the dealers - except for the awesome craps crews - a bunch of cranky whiners??
How long does a guy have to gamble to get a goddamn drink around here??!? Parched, like an August day sun-baked tomato. Blackjack, craps, roulette, three card poker, a great poker room, tons of slots and video poker. High rollers should explore "Carta Privata" high minimum gaming lounge as well as the real high limit baccarat room just around the corner.
Hated the idea of Aria, refused to even go there for a while, eating my words and thoughts now. The rooms are fantastic with comfy beds, cavernous bathrooms and fun electronic room controls.
(In other words: piss in your pants; wet yourself; had an accident. It gave him much pleasure.
So I'm totally addicted to Aria now and have stayed there several times in the past year, previously was a THEhotel regular -- sometimes with guy friends and sometimes with wifey. I'll admit we like to live it up while we're there, though aren't particularly big spenders in real life.

But on my last trip to Aria this summer, I was looser read: Anyhow, my Aria comp offers since then are much more generous than I'm used to, i. Interestingly, these arrive via standard mail in fancy packages but aren't viewable on the MGM Players Club website like my basic offers usually were. BTW, I'm getting similarly generous offers from Bellagio despite not spending a dime there in several years.
At the bottom of these offers, it says something like "contact your executive slots host or casino VIP casino services to book. I'm planning a guys trip to Aria in March for St. I'm hoping to take advantage of my latest comp offer for one of the rooms, then perhaps get a second at a discounted rate. However, my current comp offer expires at the end of the year, and I'm not sure what the next one will look like and want to get the plans finalized well before then.
So here are my questions:. Is it presumptuous of me to call and ask for one, or would they have offered me one already if I deserved it? Will I just be embarassing myself when they politely reject me?
If you're an iPhone owner and you want a new smartwatch , the latest Apple Watch Series 3 isn't your only choice. Yes, it's a fantastic wearable and our current smartwatch fave, but it's not for everyone's taste and hardly the most wallet-friendly. Luckily, there's a whole host of iOS-compatible smartwatches on the market with features that Cupertino's device has yet to include. So iPhone users have plenty of options to choose from. So, if you find the new LTE-enabled Apple Watch a little too pricey or just not to your taste, we've rounded up a selection of the best alternatives to pick from, any of which will sync seamlessly with your iPhone with zero fuss.
Instead, it's an upgrade to the Gear S2 and brings it closer to the Apple Watch's sports tracking. The new waterproof design brings dedicated swim tracking to accompany the built-in GPS for running and cycling, along with the onboard heart rate monitor.
On the smartwatch front, it'll offer the same strong notification support as the S3, Samsung Pay and Spotify offline playlist support. That rotating bezel is still there to navigate Samsung's Tizen OS and it still manages to eke out more battery life than the Watch Series 3, too. It doesn't, however, have LTE support, but if you want that, you can go for the Gear S3 instead, which is still a worthy alternative to the Apple Watch. For a full verdict, take a read of our Samsung Gear Sport review.
If Samsung or Wear OS don't do it for you, then there's always Fitbit's latest smartwatch to consider. And, if we're honest, this is easily the watch that people mistake most for the Apple Watch when we have it on our wrists. And like the Watch Series 3, it's all about fitness. So it's got a waterproof design, along with swim tracking and an onboard heart rate monitor to measure workout intensity.
What it doesn't have, however, is built-in GPS - for that you'll want to pay a bit more and get the Fitbit Ionic. You can also expect the usual Fitbit fitness tracking features, including arguably the best sleep monitoring features of any wrist-worn wearable. As far as core smartwatch features are concerned, it supports notifications for messages and from third-party apps with replies available if you're connected to an Android phone , and has an onboard music player with support for Deezer, and if you live in the US, Pandora, too note that these can only be played offline.
